The actual penalty is assessed on a case-by-case basis and may increase where non-compliance is repeated or prolonged, where additional labour violations are identified alongside the missed declaration, or where the company fails to cooperate with inspectors. Beyond monetary penalties, non-compliance may also result in heightened inspection frequency and increased regulatory scrutiny going forward.
