Trademark registration goes fully online in Cambodia.

 4 December 2025.

The Ministry of Commerce (MoC) has announced the implementation of a fully digital Paperless Trademark Registration System, effective from 30 September 2025. Under Announcement No. 3210 MOC D/IPR, all trademark-related procedures must now be completed online, with physical document submission no longer accepted.

This update applies to all trademark owners, legal representatives and applicants. Those intending to register or manage trademarks in Cambodia should prepare to transition to the new platform and ensure they have the necessary digital tools and system access.

As part of the shift to digital processing, all official documents relating to trademark registration will be issued electronically. This initiative is intended to streamline procedures, enhance convenience and improve the overall efficiency of public service delivery.

Businesses and rights holders are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the new system to avoid delays or compliance issues under the updated requirements.
